I utilise my practice to produce evocative meditations on publicness focusing on culturally specific moments of departure and/or arrival.

Currently I am working on a body of work that examines the shift from 'civic' to 'public' ideologies in the UK over the last 60 years. My aim is to articulate some of the important moments that contributed to the UK's changing identity during this period. This work is particularly meaningful as it will also give insight into the current political landscape, as the country is once again re-establishing its identity in light of the Brexit vote.

In 2013 I founded Relief Press, a micro publishing house centred on a periodical journal - I invite artists, curators and writers to respond to themes to make a work specifically for the printed page. Contributions are manifested through on-going discussions, works in progress, live performances, archives and research.
